Adopt a Springer Spaniel / Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie / Mixed (medium coat)

Hi my name is Rudy,

I really like to snuggle and be on your lap.  One of my most favorite things is car rides. I make a great wing dog (foster dad says). I will hang out watch the world go by and when I get tired I lay down and take a nap.

I am still learning the ropes of being a fur kid, but everyone says I am a good boy. If I am left in my kennel to long I may have an accident, but I am working really hard on my potty training. I will sit outside and chase the birds, bunnies, chip monks and squirrels if I can.  Oh my foster mom wanted me to tell you that I do cry sometimes when I first go in my kennel. I don't like being with out my people, I am most comfortable when I am with someone. 

I do guard my humans, my foster mom and dad have to correct me at times. I don't always want to share my humans big or small. I will guard them when other humans and dogs come around that I am not sure about.  I do like to guard my bones and treats. I am getting better about it, however I do need to be corrected ever once and a while.

I am good with other dogs as long as I get slow introductions. I didn't get to play with my foster siblings for the first 3 days just so we all had time to get to know each other. I have been told I am really smart (because I will try to get out of my harness, when I am being determined.)  If I don't get my way I will lay down and pout and not move.

 I will bark when I feel my foster home is in danger. Other then that I really don't say much. (mom says most of that is because of my big mouth foster sister lady, she is a pitbull with a big mouth shhh don't tell her I said that she is bigger then me) 

 If you ask anyone I am a really great guy, I really like to travel, take long walks anywhere, nap in the sun, and just plan snuggle. I am learning that this white stuff I think you call it snow is really fun to play in but boy is it cold. Us Texas kids don't see this stuff from where we are. It also makes it hard to find a place to poop where it isn't touching my butt. hahaha. (foster mama and dad have had to shovel a spot for me) 

I am really looking for a mom and dad that I can snuggle, travel with, take walks with but most of all will keep me warm   WILL THAT BE YOU??
